The story of Upstitched Creations begins with a thread — one that’s been passed through my family in ways both practical and imaginative. Growing up, my mother was often at her sewing machine, making clothes for me and crafting Halloween costumes that felt like pure magic. From her, I learned the value of creativity, resourcefulness, and the joy of wearing something made with love.

Decades later, during the stillness of the pandemic, I picked up knitting needles for the first time. My mom taught me over FaceTime, with my 90-year-old grandmother knitting beside her. Across screens and across generations, I found that every handmade piece carries more than craft — it carries connection.

After years in the tech world, I realized it was time to honor this part of myself and pursue something more tactile, sustainable, and creative. Today, with Upstitched Creations, I bring together hand-knitted garments, upcycled treasures, and custom designs — each piece crafted to celebrate individuality while honoring tradition. For me, this work is about more than fashion; it’s about creating something with meaning, something that carries your story as much as mine.
